we got invited to dine in at Pappas Taverna

Walking In
located on the historic MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village If you're looking for a fine dining experience that will satisfy your craving for authentic Greek food, then Pappas Taverna is the place to go.
This place looks amazing! As you walk in a nice girl greets you, hello, the bar is right in front.
and you know me one Macallan to start before my friends arrive.
the dining room is a bright white with sculptures on the walls. on the other side of the wall, they had empty wine bottles. As you walk down two steps more seating area and another bar! Second Macallan, please!
Time To Eat
We took a seat and were immediately handed menus for appetizers as well as for entrees.
start I had the romaine salad my friends had the tomato salad.
we got a few different appetizers, Meatballs, Hummus, Fried Octopus
everything tasted good so far, the main course was the pork skewers.
my friends tried chicken, lobster, and fish. The sides were roasted potatoes and grilled veggies which went with every dish. The portions were generous. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy the waiter was friendly and courteous, checking up on us regularly. All in all, it was an amazing experience,
desert was assorted mini cakes chocolate, strawberry, etc.
it was great food all around I left still wanting to eat more!

From the moment we stepped into Pappas Taverna, it was a beautiful and unique experience that truly made us feel like we were dining on a small island off of Greece’s coast. thank you so much for the invitation we will be returning again and referring our friends here!
